About the role
Seqera is seeking an experienced Sales Operations Manager to lead our sales operations function. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will play a crucial role in defining, building, and implementing our sales processes and systems. This hands-on position provides the opportunity to shape the Sales Ops function from the ground up, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic growth.
In this role, you will
Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Experience (CX), and other key teams to drive the effectiveness and efficiency of our sales-related processes, tools, and systems. Your focus will be on strategic planning, continuous improvement, and implementation of scalable solutions that support our sales organization as we grow.
What you will work on
- Drive Sales Operations: Lead the development of our sales operational processes, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing robust, scalable processes to support growth.
- Enhance Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing and CX leadership to establish integrated processes that facilitate seamless interactions between sales, marketing, and customer experience functions.
- Implement Systems & Tools: Develop a roadmap for sales systems, take ownership of implementation, and ensure alignment with IT for a smooth rollout. Tools may include CRM automation, forecasting tools, and management reporting.
- Metrics & Analytics: Partner with leadership to define key KPIs for the sales team and implement reporting mechanisms to provide insights into sales performance, trends, and opportunities.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure availability of managerial reporting, project status tracking, and adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and implementing improvement opportunities within sales operations.
- Leading cross-functional processes that prioritize high levels of sales effectiveness, working primarily with Marketing and CX.
- Collaborating with Finance for pricing strategies, forecasting, and budget alignment.
- Taking ownership of sales systems, from planning to implementation, in collaboration with IT.
- Creating dashboards, reports, and analytics for comprehensive insights into sales performance.
We are looking for someone with
- 3-5 years of experience in a Sales Operations role within an Enterprise Software company.
- Deep understanding of Sales and Marketing operations, with experience collaborating with CX teams.
- Proven ability to define and implement scalable processes, especially in a startup or rapidly growing environment.
- Demonstrated experience with selecting and implementing sales tools and platforms.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
