Your mission

You support our end-to-end operational purchasing process and ensure that purchase orders run smoothly from request to clarification.
You review, complete, and convert purchase requisitions (PRs) into purchase orders (POs) in SAP S/4HANA.
You create, send, and document purchase orders and consistently track them throughout the document flow.
You obtain order confirmations, review them carefully, and proactively clarify deviations (quantity/date/price).
You monitor delivery dates, send targeted reminders, and escalate when needed in alignment with internal stakeholders.
You support goods receipts as well as invoice and clarification cases (e.g., price/quantity variances) and actively drive solutions through to completion.
You support procurement across all categories (Direct & Indirect Procurement) – from production/plant-related requirements to indirect spend (e.g., MRO/spare parts, services, investment-related purchasing – depending on demand).
You ensure data quality and collaboration by maintaining master and transactional data, communicating professionally with internal and external stakeholders, and handling complaints/returns including follow-up and documentation.

Your profile

You have completed a commercial apprenticeship/education (e.g., industrial clerk, office management clerk) or a comparable qualification, ideally with a background in procurement/materials management/logistics.
You have initial professional experience in purchasing, procurement, order processing, or a comparable operational role.
You have hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (MM/Purchasing); alternatively, you bring strong ERP affinity and a high willingness to learn.
You work in a structured and reliable manner and follow topics through to completion.
You communicate confidently and professionally with internal contacts and suppliers.
You work independently, set pragmatic priorities, and keep track even when managing multiple topics in parallel.
You have a strong focus on data quality and ensure completeness, plausibility, and traceability.
You have very good German and English skills, written and spoken.

About us

cylib is a research-based German scaleup for holistic battery recycling - starting from discharging to recovery of all components of the lithium battery - that was founded in Aachen in 2022 by three visionary founders, including a female CEO.

Our process

The cylib process offers a complete end-to-end process from battery pack to green battery material by employing a combination of mechanical and thermal pre-treatments and an innovative water-based lithium and graphite recovery. Unlike incumbents, cylib can therefore recover battery materials such as lithium, graphite or manganese. The process was developed over several years of research at the renown RWTH Aachen University and offers an efficient, resource- and climate friendly recovery of all battery materials from end-of-life batteries.

cylib's technology enables the recovery of all battery components regardless of whether it is an end-of-life battery or not. Recovery of green secondary raw materials from the cylib process enables the realization of the true Circular Economy on the European market.
