Who we are

We are the leading independent e-commerce logistics platform in Europe that provides scalable fulfillment services for e-commerce businesses and fast-growing D2C brands. From warehousing, picking and packing, delivery, and returns management, we take care of the whole order fulfillment process for online shops. By using our solution, retailers get access to a broad network of warehouses across Europe, which are all interconnected via our software. This enables e-commerce retailers to manage their whole logistics with our powerful all-in-one tool, in the fastest and most efficient way possible. As a result, merchants can improve their delivery speed, reduce logistics costs and optimize product availability.

As a scale-up company with several offices across Europe, we are always looking for talented team players who are eager to help us shape the future of e-commerce logistics; and this is where you come into play.

This is what you will do

You are the interface between our fulfillment warehouses (partners) and the business and are responsible for the following:

Partner Fulfillment

  • You support our partners in their daily work with byrd warehouse management, ticketing and data analysis systems
  • You handle special fulfillment requests from our customers
  • You plan the warehouse and fulfillment capacities together with our account management team and our partners' warehouses
  • You ensure the proper integration of new customers into a partner warehouse together with the customer onboarding team
  • You ensure that the partner warehouse is able to achieve byrd SLA and meet byrd fulfillment standards
  • You conduct training remotely or on-site for partner warehouses when new WMS features are introduced
  • You monitor and analyze byrd's fulfillment KPIs and develop appropriate actions based on the numbers together with the byrd OPS team and partner warehouses

Partner support

  • You are responsible for integrating new customers into our business processes
  • You ensure that quality is always high - taking into account the specifics of new product, packaging and storage requirements
  • You coordinate regular and ad hoc requests for carrier pickups with partner warehouses
  • You implement new features of our tool and processes directly at partner locations and take responsibility for ensuring they are fully understood and adopted
  • You will support the operations team in optimizing processes in collaboration with other operations departments and the commercial team

This is what you will need to succeed

  • Fluent German & English language skills essential - any additional fluent language skills related to one of our entities (Spanish, French, Italian) a big plus
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, business administration, or management (e.g., supply chain management, procurement), or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years experience in logistics (warehouse management, operations management etc.)
  • Experience with implementing or adapting logistics/fulfillment processes at the warehouse and management level (change and project management)
  • Good knowledge of general logistics processes and warehouse management
  • Ability to generate, analyze and track relevant metrics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An eye for detail and the ability to "multitask"- even when things get hectic
  • Excellent Excel and Google suite user skills
  • In-depth knowledge of a logistics/warehouse management tool or general tech-savvy skills
  • Experience using a ticketing system (e.g. Freshdesk or similar)
  • Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Willingness to travel

This is what is it in for you

  • Training budget. Once you have completed your probation period you are granted an annual training budget which you can use for developmental purposes defined in our internal training budget policy.
  • Gym membership package. We want our employees to be healthy, happy, and well-rested. Our work-related activities are diversified; our movement is not. In order to create a balance, we offer gym memberships to colleagues in each of our entities, allowing them to keep active & maintain a healthy lifestyle.
  • Annual public transport tickets. We offer annual public transportation tickets to employees to compensate for the time they spend commuting and as an incentive to opt for the environmentally-friendly way of commuting to our offices.
  • Tech pack and merch. We provide top-quality hardware that you need to help byrd move the needle. To top things off, we also provide lots of merch to our byrdies to keep us all swagged out.
  • Regular team events. We are always happy to meet for team lunches or a small break to unwind and have a (virtual) cup of your favorite brew. In addition, team-building and celebratory events are at the core of our social gatherings, bringing colleagues together to celebrate our achievements and growth.
  • Meaningful tasks. With us, you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that have a direct impact on our company and our customers. You will have an opportunity to work with a team of experienced and passionate professionals that care for you and your contributions to the team.
