About the role:

As an Operations Executive at YardLink, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service to both customers and suppliers. Based in our Holborn office for a minimum of 3 days per week, you will be responsible for linking customers and suppliers nationwide and ensuring effective cost and availability. This position involves active participation in daily stand-up meetings, providing feedback on day-to-day activities, and working collaboratively to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Generate and provide quotations to the sales department or directly to customers to secure business
  • Utilise YardLink's Order Management System to determine the best price and availability for customers
  • Handle inbound calls and emails from customers and suppliers
  • Facilitate customer enquiries related to hire queries, deliveries, breakdowns, ETA's, off-hire requests, etc
  • Complete customer requests within assigned Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Advise customers on the best possible products to meet their needs
  • Provide excellent customer service through various communication channels (phone, email, chat)
  • Share product knowledge and information with customers
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the line manager
  • Follow communication procedures and guidelines
  • Go the extra mile to accommodate customers' needs
