Teams at Wayflyer are truly cross-functional. Regardless of your role at Wayflyer, you'll work with a variety of different disciplines and teams from around the world on a multitude of challenging projects and game-changing products to revolutionise the eCommerce landscape.

The role

As the first experienced Leadership hire into the Wayflyer Marketing function, you’ll help us understand where and how Marketing will have the most impact in accelerating our growth and strengthening our market position. You’ll be responsible for designing a comprehensive strategy to drive sustainable, scalable, marketing-led growth for the company, and aligning this strategy across the senior leadership team. You’ll shape the marketing function over time and drive its contribution to Wayflyer’s growth through the high-performing team you build. You will report directly to the Chief Business Officer and be a key member of the broader Wayflyer leadership team.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement a multi year marketing-led growth strategy, with a particular focus on demand generation, aligned with overall marketing and growth objectives

  • Work cross functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Finance teams to align the strategy and subsequently drive strong performance

  • Develop a strategy and roadmap alongside our technology team to build a strong marketing stack that will support ongoing improvements in marketing efficiency

  • Analyze marketing data and demand generation performance to identify areas for improvement and optimization

  • Work closely with Data and Finance team to establish and improve attribution, forecasting, and reporting on ROI, communicating results to Wayflyer leadership

  • Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel demand generation campaigns across key markets to generate qualified leads

  • Establish KPIs and metrics for demand generation initiatives in alignment with our commercial, sales and finance teams

  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to understand lead quality and make data-driven adjustments to improve conversion rates

Minimum qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in a global Marketing leadership role with demonstrated ability to work effectively across all Marketing sub-functions and cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Finance

  • Strong business acumen and a proven ability to craft demand generation strategies in alignment with product roadmaps and broader marketing and sales strategy

  • Hands-on experience in standing up the Demand Generation function and a scalable marketing tech stack in a high growth scale-up environment

  • Experience establishing attribution and performance measurement frameworks, along with excellent analytical skills and deep understanding of marketing data, attribution and tracking, to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of our demand generation programs

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience bridging B2B demand generation programs with scaled product-led growth initiatives

  • Experience in B2B Fintech
