We currently employ 200+ people across Europe with our headquarters based in Berlin, Germany, and hubs in Tallinn, Estonia, and London, UK.
Please note this job is open to remote UK-based individuals willing to travel to London on a bi-monthly basis.
Your mission
Act as a subject matter expert, responsible for managing Upvest’s clearing, settlement and transfer processes (initially UK focused) utilising Equisoft
Build relationships with the operational teams of our clients and assist them in supporting their end-users with ISA related queries
Contribute to building a best-in-class product
Optimise workflows and contribute to the implementation of automation and AI to define our UK client experience
Design operational improvements whilst ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies, addressing potential risks to support reliable and secure operations
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Treasury and other teams to support efficient processes and address challenges as they arise
Participate in projects aimed at scaling our UK settlement and transfer operations
Monitor key metrics related to settlement and transfers, providing insights to support business decisions and improve performance

Travel frequently to our Berlin HQ to have facetime and team building activities with our operational team over there
What you bring
At least 3 years of relevant work experience with SIPP and ISA transfers
Familiarity with transfer software such as Equisoft and Origo and exposure to the CREST system
Understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks such as CASS, HMRC ISA Manager rules
Proven track record of managing teams and driving operational excellence
Strong investigative and analytical skills; ability to identify errors
Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Fluent in English - both written and verbal
Experience in data analysis and process automation using data visualization tools, SQL, Python, or similar is a plus
