We’re looking for fintech enthusiasts to join us in creating the financial infrastructure of tomorrow. We’re building the first European Investment API to enable any financial institution offering a wide range of efficient and transparent investment products, such as stocks and ETFs in nominal, portfolio, and fractional form. Our mission and vision is to make investing as easy as spending money.
We’re based in Berlin but are also open to hiring remotely in Germany or Estonia for this role. If you're currently based elsewhere but would like to move to Germany, we’re happy to support your relocation.
Your mission:
Empower Upvest’s clients to grow
Upvest is proud to call Europe’s largest Fintech our clients – Revolut, N26, Raisin and more. To become the category leader for investment infrastructure in Europe, Upvest will enable many more international A-class clients in Fintech and traditional banking. To provide a first-class service to our clients, Upvest is hiring a Head of Account Management. In this role, you identify our clients’ problems-to-solve and find meaningful solutions within the Upvest ecosystem. You are outcome-focused, communicate with clarity, and keep a bias for action. You activate and retain clients by empowering them to achieve their target business outcomes. You develop shared growth roadmaps to strategically navigate partnerships to success and satisfaction.
Set the Account Management gold-standard at Upvest
Upvest strives to become the category leader in investment infrastructure which encompasses the setting of a new standard in client delight. To enable this vision, you develop and execute a comprehensive account management strategy that enables Upvest to deliver “wow” to our clients at scale. You lead the way by demonstrating account management skills, introducing a proven Account Management playbook, and leveraging tools for analytics and tracking. You gather, distil, and share client and market insights regularly with sales, product, and operations to accelerate improvements and new features. You scale your team, build habits, and ensure they can deliver success and satisfaction with confidence and repeatability. You ensure a seamless client experience by communicating effectively with internal teams.
Build the foundation for multi-decade client relationships
As the trusted investment infrastructure of choice, Upvest is to stay for the long-long-term. You are an Upvest ambassador and bring the best of Upvest’s expertise, our ecosystem capabilities, and the Upvest spirit to our clients. You cultivate and maintain strong client relationships and industry connections through regular client calls, in-person meetings and participation in networking events. You engage seamlessly with cutting-edge Fintechs as well as incumbent banking clients. You drive high-visibility client events and take initiative to seek exposure. You obsess about client satisfaction and make it your northstar.
Job requirements:
6+ years of operational experience in Account Management or Customer Success teams in the investments industry in a B2B context, ideally with SaaS/API-based products
3+ years of team leadership experience
You have deep experience in consultative selling and in managing 7-figure-plus accounts.
You possess strong relationship-building and expectation management skills, demonstrating the ability to establish trust, handle objections, retain clients, and ensure their ongoing satisfaction.
You are able to own account-related initiatives and drive them to completion, with an ability to navigate ambiguity and build scalable processes.
You are curious and understand client challenges, coupled with the ability to identify opportunities for value-based upselling to expand client contracts.
You are proactive and hands-on with project ownership, including effective client communication and thorough internal documentation.
You have a solid understanding of the investment industry, current trends, and competitive landscape.
You are passionate about growth as Upvest has a bright future ahead, which depends on our team’s spirit, morale, and work ethic.
Preferably, you are located in Berlin and show flexibility for work travel. You are fluent in English (both written and verbal). Proficiency in German is advantageous.

You’re an exceptionally good listener, read people well, and have an uncanny ability to pick up on people's needs without them even saying it.
You are highly attentive to detail, care for accuracy in your work, and prefer to keep things concise.
