Who will be your travel partners?
The Engineering Team plays a crucial role in scaling our global platform while collaborating closely with our product organization to expand across various verticals and product lines. As a product-led tech company, we recognize that our success is directly linked to the exceptional talent we bring on board. Our team comprises more than 40 engineers who work cross-functionally across five pillars, utilizing agile methodology to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
What your adventure will look like:
Our frontend engineers drive continuous innovation in our codebase, optimizing user acquisition, retention, and performance of the platform. They collaborate closely with Designers and Product managers to bring fresh ideas and industry trends to the team.
Your responsibilities:
- Continuously innovating in bringing our frontend code base to new standards
- Working on projects that can include improving new user acquisition through SEO, optimizing sales tooling, improving customer retention, setting up search and search result pages
- Using low-level languages for optimizing performance on the platform
- Participate in all stages of the product life cycle: from brainstorming product ideas to design and implementation of the UI).
- Tackle projects aimed at driving innovation and improving platform performance,
- Collaborate closely with the design team.
- Stay current with industry trends and bring new ideas to the team.
What you’ll need to bring to your adventure:
- 3+ years of experience with plain JavaScript (ES6/ES7)
- Profound understanding of SCSS/CSS
- Knowledge of functional programming principles
- Knowledge of principles of web performance
- A keen eye for design
- Experience in dealing with version control systems such as Git
- Worked in an Agile environment
- Test affine - writing tests (unit and integration tests) is part of your development workflow
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
- Customer-first mindset
Bonus skills:
- Knowledge in GraphQL (client and server)
- Understanding of CSS-in-JS
- Understanding of SEO optimization
- Familiarity with BackEnd codebase
- Understanding of different compilation systems / bundler
- Experience with CI/CD
