Revolutionizing how multi-day adventures are booked, we provide Operators with a platform that helps them manage, market and sell their organized adventures to travelers directly (B2C) or via distribution partners (B2B2C) worldwide.

Traditionally, booking an organized tour was a tedious and time-consuming process. Where will I stay? What activities will I do? What meals am I going to have? What operator can I trust? TourRadar makes booking multi-day adventures seamless and timely, partnering with 2,500+ operators to offer more than 50,000+ adventures in 160+ countries. Founded in 2010, TourRadar was the first to transition multi-day tours to an online marketplace, making them the leader in the industry. In 2021, TourRadar further revolutionized the industry by introducing the Adventure Booking Platform, connecting travelers, operators, and travel agents to organized adventures through one platform.

With 40+ different nationalities in our team and with offices in Europe, North America and Australia, we work to deliver the best possible booking experience. Launched in 2010, we proudly develop and innovate exceptional talent and we are looking to scale our content and brand team.

We are currently looking for a mid-level Content Specialist (Full-Time) to join our team in Vienna or remotely (in Europe).

The opportunity:

Reporting to the Head of Content & Brand, we’re looking for someone with a proven track record creating compelling, inspiring B2B and long-form content and who has expertise in measuring its impact across the full marketing funnel, from awareness to conversions. Ideally you’ll be based in our bustling and centrally located Vienna office, and will frequently collaborate with your colleagues in Brisbane and Toronto. What you’ll be doing:

You will be part of a growing Content & Brand team that is collaborative, enthusiastic, supportive and deadline-driven. This mid-level position will focus on supporting our Marketing & Product organizations with content creation across B2B emails, social media, website & other editorial needs. You will work closely with our Distribution Marketing team on their weekly deliverables. The scope of projects vary in size, from weekly marketing emails to co-branded larger marketing campaigns to longer travel editorial pieces published publicly on behalf of TourRadar to white papers.

Some of the projects you will be working on:

  • Working hand-in-hand with our email marketing team to support their overall content needs (copy creation, editing, etc)
  • Supporting our Distribution Marketing team with their emails, white papers, etc.
  • Working with the Head of Content & Brand to create new and inspiring content to showcase across our social media channels, website and other publication areas
  • Working closely with our Product team to create or update content for various areas of TourRadar.com
  • Project managing as well as contributing pithy, long-form copy for our online travel magazine
  • Working closely with our Design team to ensure that the overall message, look and feel of your content correctly represents the TourRadar brand
  • Work with the SEO team to optimize your writing for the best conversion results
  • Updating existing content & copy to reflect the refreshed TourRadar brand guidelines
  • Proactively identifying erroneous content and resolving it accordingly

Who you are:

  • Have full proficiency in English (native level is required)
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English Literature, Communications or other relevant major
  • Have 5+ years experience as a digital copywriter, journalist, editor or similar
  • Have a solid grasp of writing for SEO and B2B with an emphasis on cheeky, pithy copy
  • Have experience measuring content impact (IE looking at conversion data, engagement metrics, etc)
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and handle challenging projects and relationships
  • Be comfortable with various data sources and with digging deep to understand the path to conversion for your content
  • The ability to think strategically beyond the day-to-day role in order to impact TourRadar’s future brand success
  • Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in both a team environment and independently
  • Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to communicate in an honest manner is a must
  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets. Familiar with Google Analytics and/or similar
  • Ability to quickly learn and use new technology
  • Ability to multitask and handle a number of projects at once
  • A can-do, enthusiastic attitude who is a great team player
  • Experience in the travel industry or adventure travel is a massive plus
