Timberhub aims to redefine the market by connecting sawmills with manufacturers and construction contractors while managing procurement, payments, and transportation of timber materials through its digital B2B marketplace. Role and Responsibilities for Operations Associate:

Logistics and Order Execution:

  • Coordinate and manage the efficient execution of orders from placement to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize transportation routes and minimize delivery lead times.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the order process.
  • Maintain open communication channels with customers, keeping them informed about order status, delivery schedules, and any potential delays.


Process Optimization:

  • Analyze and enhance internal processes related to logistics, order execution, and customer service for increased efficiency.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Utilize data to generate reports on order fulfillment, logistics performance, and customer satisfaction.


Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to align logistics and order execution strategies with overall account goals.
  • Liaise with other departments, including sales, purchase, and product teams, to ensure seamless coordination and communication.

Ideal Background:

  • 2+ years of experience in operations roles, preferably in logistics or order fulfillment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Perseverance and an entrepreneurial mindset for problem-solving.
  • Track record of exceeding targets or experience in a results-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in English, German is a plus.
