Timberhub aims to redefine the market by connecting sawmills with manufacturers and construction contractors while managing procurement, payments, and transportation of timber materials through its digital B2B marketplace. Role And Responsibilities For Sales

  • Prospecting new business: Create deal opportunities by initiating and developing new customers through lead qualification, first customer calls and customer visits in the Greek Market.
  • Expanding within accounts: Support account strategies and execution where necessary to grow revenue with existing accounts. Travel along with Senior Sales team members to customers whenever is needed.
  • Closing deals: Research, understand your customer’s needs, offer solutions, and anticipate objections in order to contribute significantly to Timberhubs sales volume.
  • Partnering across organisation: Coordinate with logistics, purchase and product teams to efficiently close deals and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Becoming a timber expert: Develop an expertise and understanding of different timber products, customer profiles and markets.
  • Knowing your customers: Creating and updating customer information and dealing with data within our CRM and maintaining other sales enabling processes.

Ideal Background:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales (field sales / acquisition / support roles).
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Perseverance and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Track record of exceeding targets in any field and / or entrepreneurial background
  • Proficiency in Greek and English.
  • Valid driver licence
  • Studies or experience in the timber industry is a plus.
