ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Financial Reporting and Control team are responsible for the financial controllership of the Tide Group. This includes month end reporting, statutory accounts and related audits and ensuring a robust control framework and processes for our global Finance operations. We need someone to be proactive, take initiative and build out best in class financial reporting and control processes and procedures for our Revenue Control & Regulatory Capital team.
As our new Senior Revenue Controller you’ll report to the Group Financial Controller and be responsible for the financial reporting and controllership of Revenue, Cost of Sales and Risk Costs within the Tide Group. You will be responsible for the accuracy of Tide’s UK regulatory reporting, managing both internal and external reporting.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

As the Senior Revenue Controller you’ll be:
- Responsible for the monthly close process - capturing Revenue, Cost of Sales and Risk Costs (incl. related B/S items) to the ledger
- Review the month end P&L and balance sheet for relevant line items, understand drivers of month on month movements, provide variance analysis and perform analytical review of the financials
- Collaborate closely with the Business Areas, Financial Risk Management and FP&A to provide analysis of the revenue and cost of sales of the Tide group entities
- Maintaining best practice documentation of accounting policy and papers for material transactions, revenue recognition and key business processes
- Collaborate within the Financial Reporting & Control team to ensure timely and accurate reporting of monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, annual financial statements and regulatory reporting
- Ensure proper books and records for all financial transactions
- Build out balance sheet substantiation procedures and monthly reconciliations
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors
- Build robust financial control processes and strengthening internal control framework
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes, operations and systems
- Collaborate with the project team and play a key role for your assigned work areas for the new SAP general ledger system
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT:
- Experience working in fintech, financial services or MNCs
- Strong financial acumen and excellent technical accounting skills. Familiar with accounting standard and disclosure requirements under UK GAAP and/or IFRS
- Experienced in dealing with the statutory audit of financial services company
- You hold a professional finance qualification (CA)
- 5+ years PQE
- Confident dealing with senior stakeholders across the business and owning your work with minimal hands-on management
- Excellent commercial acumen

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take responsibility for business-critical financial operations
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Ability to stick to tight deadlines

- Personable, and able to build strong working relationships
- Tech savvy, with strong Microsoft Excel/Gsheet skills
- Experience with Xero or SAP
