About the Team The Business Development team is a front-line team, focused on converting prospective and existing members into fully engaged Tide Members. Their efforts are instrumental in expanding Tide's member base and ensuring that members fully utilise and benefit from Tide’s comprehensive range of products. Through targeted outreach, strategic follow-ups, and personalised engagement, the Business Development team strives to turn every lead into a satisfied and loyal Tide Member.

About the Role

As a Senior BD Executive, you will:

  1. Conversion:
    • Speak to members who have been onboarded and tagged as interested in additional product verticals within 48 hours of the initial contact.
    • Upsell relevant product verticals, ensuring members understand the value and benefits of these products.
    • Build rapport with members, understand their business needs, and provide tailored recommendations.
  2. Revenue:
    • Drive revenue growth by up-selling additional products and services to existing members.
    • Work cross-functionally with other departments to stay informed about upcoming product launches and updates, ensuring you can effectively pitch these to members.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of Tide's product offerings and how they can benefit different types of businesses.
  3. Member Engagement:
    • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring members feel supported and valued.
    • Address member inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
    • Follow up with members to ensure they are fully utilising the products and services they have signed up for, and identify any additional needs.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a Senior BD Executive to join our team. We are looking for an individual with the following qualifications, experience, personality traits, and skills:

  • Passionate, driven, with a can-do attitude and positivity.
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
  • Previous customer service or telesales experience.
  • Revenue-focused with strong upselling abilities.
  • Target-driven with a focus on achieving goals.
  • Comfortable with constant change and switching priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a member-first mentality.
  • Self-motivated and conscientious, with the ability to make a real difference to the business.
  • Ability to listen, learn, and adapt to feedback.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced fintech environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of compliance, KYC, AML, and associated regulations is a plus.
