We’re looking for a smart mind to complement our team. You’ll be part of an award-winning, international engineering and clinical team to provide AI-guided point of care ultrasound assessments. Our first application is AutoDVT – a real-time AI guide for deep vein thrombosis (DVT). DVT leads to more deaths in the western world than AIDS, prostate cancer, breast cancer and car accidents combined!

Now to the tasks at hand:

At ThinkSono, we use deep learning to analyse ultrasound image streams in real-time on a mobile phone. You will work on our user-facing applications which guide a novice operator of an ultrasound probe on how to execute the ultrasound exam and then validate the clinical correctness of the executed scan. You will develop software across our tech stack, ranging from the mobile application to web services, infrastructure and ML. This is the AutoDVT app, the AutoDVT Dashboard and new clinical applications for eFAST and paediatric wrist fractures.

We expect that you feel comfortable at across the tech boundaries of a single application. We’re looking for someone wanting to deeply understand the clinical use cases to make autonomous day-to-day project decisions. We’re looking for someone with the ability to think from the user’s perspective. You will mostly be an individual contributor, though a strong sense of ownership and team responsibility is appreciated. We’re looking for someone who wants to have impact, and shape the product and the team.

Skills required:

• Strong Python skills (2+ years)
• Strong React skills (2+ years)
• Strong AWS skills, having deployed services to production (2+ years)
• 4+ years of professional experience
• A computer science degree (Master)
• Proactive, pragmatic, clear-communication
