Founding Account Executive

The Opportunity

As our Founding Account Executive, you will be our first commercial hire who will spearhead our transition from founder-led sales into a scalable and robust sales machine.
You will work closely with our CEO to build, execute, and scaling our customer factory to generate traction by finding creative ways to source, activate, close, and delight customers.
You will play a pivot role in accelerating our growth rate. We are a small but dedicated team and expect everyone to be self-driven, comfortable working in our remote-first, dynamic and fast-paced environment, embracing the challenges we face with enthusiasm.

Your mission (Responsibilities)

Lead the sales process end-to-end from demand gen to closing.
Prospecting: Prospect new customers and reach out across multiple channels, including direct reach out, events / conferences, trial users, and partners. Implement and innovate new methods to source, activate, and close deals, ensuring customer delight.
Qualify & Engage Customers: Understand customer problems, qualify using best-practise techniques, and using your industry and product knowledge
Develop relationships, move customers through the sales process, and close deals (you’ll be running it alongside our CEO)
Revenue Goals: Achieve significant sales milestones
Go-to-market Strategy: Lead the creation, experimentation, implementation, and analysis of effective sales strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets.
Partnerships Prospect new partnerships and opportunities, develop relationships with existing contacts and thought leaders to ensure we’re maximising our industry relationships
Marketing Drive content creation and marketing initiatives to grow our brand within the industry

What you need to succeed (Requirements)

B2B SaaS Sales Expertise: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in SaaS sales, with a proven track record in a startup environment, preferably in the early stages (VC-backed Seed or Series A).
Leadership in Scaling Sales: Demonstrated experience in scaling sales operations from the ground up, including setting up sales processes, CRM systems, and building a sales team.
Achievement of Significant Sales Targets: History of meeting or exceeding significant sales targets, with the ability to close deals of varying sizes, and achieving rapid sales growth.
Building Customer Relationships: Strong experience in building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers in businesses, preferably in industries relevant to Tenyks.
Strategic Sales Planning: Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and execution of sales strategies, including market analysis, segmentation, and targeted outreach.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in using sales analytics and CRM tools to guide strategy and decision-making.

Tenyks is a YCombinator University of Cambridge spin-out inventing the way humanity interacts with AI to protect the world from the Terminator! But also to ensure that AI is developed with passion, excitement, and joy! We are building an MLOps monitoring and validation platform that helps AI developers working with computer vision data to build more reliable software faster. Specifically, our platform helps ML developers understand what's wrong with their software and fix it. Imagine all of the tools you use to code, but for AI! You will work with A* players (e.g. PhDs, Cambridge, Oxford, VMWare, McKinsey, Barclays)

Salary OTE £120K - £150K, equity compensation (75%-percentile market rate)
