We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our remote team within the UK.

Telleroo is a fast-growing fintech startup that sends billions of pounds a year for some of the top companies in the UK like Thirva, Bought By Many and Tide.

We’re a fully-remote team of 16 across 6 different countries. We’re passionate about payments and keeping things simple for our users. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do.

You’ll be joining at an exciting time, we’re growing rapidly and there’s a lot to do. You’ll be instrumental in the growth of Telleroo and although your main focus will be on new business within the accounting/bookkeeping channel.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Post Event Outreach:

  • Work closely with the Head of partnerships to transition qualified leads from in person & virtual events to live partners 
  • Collaborate on strategies to increase conversion rates and make the sales process as efficient as possible

2. Needs Assessment & Solution Presentation

  • Engage with prospects to understand their pain points, challenges, and goals 
  • Conduct effective discovery conversations in order to tailor pitches that align with their specific needs
  • Present Telleroo's products and services in a compelling manner, highlighting their value and benefits to accountants and bookkeepers.

4. Relationship Building:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with accountants/bookkeepers through thoughtful and personalised follow-ups, attendance at events and engagement on social media
  • Act as a point of contact, offering insights and guidance to potential clients throughout their decision-making journey.

6. Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and communications with partners/prospective partners in the CRM system.

7. Market Insights:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging challenges within the accountant/bookkeeper sector.
  • Share insights with the broader team to refine messaging and strategies.



You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about the customer success side and take on additional responsibilities across the customer journey if you’re interested!

About you

  • Previous experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles, preferably in a B2B context.
  • Avid interest in the accounting and bookkeeping industry, along with the ability to empathise with the challenges faced by professionals in this space.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with prospects and convey the value of our solutions.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A can-do attitude and desire to pitch in and learn new skills
