🎥 The Role
As our Founding Content Creator
You’ll be building a trusted and beloved brand and a global community of creatives.
You’ll be part of the early founding team and define what resonates, what spreads, and why.
Content is not a department here.
It is the product.
You’ll experiment across formats, audiences, and narratives.
You’ll treat every piece of content as a hypothesis.
You’ll help us understand who our product is for, and how it should be experienced.
Games will be one powerful storytelling tool, but not the only one.
You’ll heavily experiment with formats, but still have conviction about what’s really interesting to people.
You’ll know how to add valuable insights to the discussion.
You’ll become one of the prominent faces of the company.
You’ll establish software as the new content before it becomes obvious
🚀 What You’ll Do
Create (Video First)
Create several short-form videos daily
Film yourself, the founders, behind the scenes, games, whatever tells the story best
Edit fast, iterate faster (phone, CapCut, IG Edits… speed over polish)
Build playful, scrappy game prototypes to turn into video content
Turn cultural moments, trends, and memes into video experiments
Capture founder-led storytelling and behind-the-scenes creation
Experiment
Test multiple video hooks, formats, and story angles
Create variations of the same idea to learn what resonates
Explore different audiences (experienced creators, new creators, curious players)
Treat low-performing videos as data, not failure
Discover
Identify which video formats unlock attention and emotion
Learn what makes people comment, share, and imagine themselves creating
Surface insights that inform brand direction and product direction
Help drive content-market fit and product-market fit through video
Collaborate
Work closely with the founders on video storytelling
Shape Spielwerk’s early voice through a recognizable video presence

You’re a video-native creator who loves to experiment.
You build things just to see what happens.
You run or have run a creator account
You’re comfortable on camera
You enjoy translating trends into playful ideas
You’re comfortable with ambiguity and energized by discovery.
You understand game-creator culture and the excitement of first-time creators.
You’re fluent in short-form storytelling.
You are deeply immersed in culture and the zeitgeist and have opinions about it.
You know how to get peoples’ attention, move fast, and make people feel something.
You want ownership, not tasks.
You want to help shape something from the very beginning.
You want to work where creativity and distribution are taken seriously.
You are fluent in video, but want to shape the next dominant format

You might have built small games, prototypes, or interactive experiments before — not as a career dev, but as a curious maker.
You’re based in Berlin or no more than 2h time-zone difference apart
