Our Governance, Risk and Compliance team is looking for a Compliance/ AML/ KYC Analyst in Vienna to provide parental leave cover for at least 12 months, with the possibility for extension.

About the Position

As the Compliance/ AML/ KYC Analyst you play a crucial role in safeguarding Speedinvest's operations by developing, implementing and executing robust Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes in close collaboration with the Head of Compliance & AMLO.

You will work closely with the fundraising and legal team, and interact with investors and other internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis.

Your Responsibilities

Performing a due diligence check on new investors as part of the onboarding process (requesting KYC information and documentation, reviewing and verifying received documentation and performing risk assessment)
Periodically reviewing existing investors
Preparing KYC documents on Speedinvest and/or its Funds upon request
Maintaining the company’s KYC database by performing regular checks and clean-ups
Implementing and maintaining the company’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies, procedures and controls to always reflect current regulatory requirements
Preparing and executing the yearly AML control plan
Preparing the yearly AML risk analysis
Providing training and support to employees on AML policies and procedures specific to AIFM operations
Serving as the primary point of contact for internal auditors regarding AML matters

Your Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Law, Business, Finance or a related field
3+ years of relevant work experience
In-depth knowledge of AML regulations and best practices, in particular focus areas of the Austrian regulator (FMA)
Strong analytical and investigative skills
Experience with/ understanding of commonly used legal documentation, e.g. Firmenbuchauszug, WiEREG, Articles of Association, Shareholder Registers, etc. (in Austria and other jurisdictions)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desire to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial organization. You possess a “can-do” attitude and take initiative
Dedicated work ethic and commitment to a goal-oriented environment
Fluency in both German and English

According to Austrian law we are required to state a minimum salary for this position. The expected minimum salary for this role is EUR 45,000.00 gross annually. The salary will be a competitive package based on previous work experience, hence overpayment is possible.
