We’re looking for a strategic yet hands-on Brand Communications Manager with an in-depth knowledge of and passion for VC and tech to help strengthen our position as an industry thought leader and increase awareness of our portfolio companies.
As Brand Communications Manager, you will own and drive our content strategy, including the management of our blog, newsletter(s), and social media channels, in alignment with our brand and business goals and in partnership with our Head of Brand and Communications.
Working closely and collaboratively with our leadership team, investment managers, in-house and external experts, and our portfolio companies, you will proactively write and support the production of high-quality, newsworthy, and on-brand content that truly moves the needle.
Your Responsibilities
  • Strategy; work side-by-side with the Head of Brand and Communications to define and deliver a best-in-class brand content marketing strategy that aligns with and supports our long-term business goals.
  • Content Management; manage the overarching Speedinvest content strategy and calendar, support our leadership team, investment managers, and in-house experts in content creation, and provide expert guidance and hands-on writing support.
  • Content Creation; proactively identify, pitch, and produce strategic content (articles, reports, interviews, etc.) to consistently engage with target audiences.
  • Content Promotion; develop and drive our social media and monthly newsletter strategy, promoting all owned content, including fund and portfolio news, and collaborating with the Head of Brand and Communications to leverage potential PR / media opportunities.
  • Measurement; provide ongoing analytics and regular reports on our content marketing performance, and optimize based on results.
Your Qualifications
  • 3 - 5 years of content management or professional writing experience in English, specifically in the VC and/or tech industry
  • Proven success in owning and executing digital communication initiatives that truly move the needle
  • A compelling portfolio of work that demonstrates your ability to produce strategic, creative, on-brand written content
  • Outgoing and energetic personality with the ability to quickly become a trusted sparring partner for our leadership team, investment managers, and in-house experts, turning their ideas into strategic content opportunities
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and take direction and feedback from results-driven colleagues constructively
  • A team player who is willing to roll up their sleeves and support with additional comms-related responsibilities and ad hoc tasks daily – and have fun while doing it!
  • Additional valued experience includes freelancer management, basic SEO knowledge (SEMRush), website management (Webflow), basic graphic design skills (Canva and Photoshop), and/or the willingness to learn these quickly
