What you’ll be doing

As a Solar Asset Manager in our commercial team, you'll provide technical solar expertise for both pre-sales and post-sales phases of projects. You'll use data analysis to assess customer needs, design solutions for our platform or PowerBI, and offer recommendations to boost client solar asset performance.

In this role, you will

  • Act as an internal solar asset management expert, guiding both onboarding and product teams.
  • Engage potential clients to grasp their solar energy needs and goals.
  • Analyze customer requirements, including energy usage, budget, sustainability, and objectives.
  • Provide solar technology insights to customize the analytics platform.
  • Collaborate with various teams for comprehensive proposals and reports.
  • Deliver engaging technical presentations to showcase solutions.
  • Aid sales in creating compelling proposals aligned with client needs.
  • Assist customers in refining data processes and offer report templates.

    In addition, we need you to:

    • Be fluent in English, our working language.
    • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
    • Live in Germany, Spain, Norway, Portugal or the UK. Candidates from EU countries willing to move to Norway* will also be considered.
    • 2 years of relevant experience in Solar Asset Management.
    • In-depth knowledge of solar energy systems, operations, and performance metrics.
    • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and permitting processes in the renewable energy sector.
    • Expert Excel user, with a good understanding of data.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric mindset.
    • Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
    • Valid driving license.

      * Non-EU/EEA citizens must have completed a bachelor’s degree to be eligible for a work permit in Norway.
