Drive innovation from research to reality: You will map out, implement, and own complex research problems that define the core technical direction of our product, moving us beyond mere iteration to true disruption.

Master deep hardware-software synergy: Tackle complex challenges by working across the full stack, from high-level feature engineering down to architecture-specific optimizations for the latest GPU hardware, pushing the boundaries of what's possible.

Shape the technical evolution: We're looking for a builder, not just an advisor. You’ll have the autonomy to influence our architectural roadmap, acting as the definitive voice for GPU technical viability and defining the technical milestones that push our engine forward.

What you’ll do

• Map and implement complex research problems into highly optimized GPU code, translating cutting-edge theory into production-ready features.

• Perform deep, architecture-specific optimizations and hardware probing to validate architectural hypotheses (tuning for Apple Silicon, NVIDIA, AMD, etc.), ensuring maximum performance and efficiency across diverse hardware backed by data-driven technical proof.

• Act as the source of truth for GPGPU technical viability, providing clear, data-backed decisions that influence the product roadmap.

• Drive the architectural direction and end-to-end integration of GPU features, operating across the entire stack from high-level representations down to low-level engine infrastructure to ensure peak performance.

• Navigate the critical trade-offs between implementing new compute and rendering features and performing essential low-level optimization work, always driving towards measurable performance improvements.

qWhat you’ll bring

• Deep understanding of two or more GPU architectures (Apple, NVIDIA, AMD, Qualcomm, etc.), including memory hierarchies, execution models, and hardware-level performance characteristics.

• Extensive production experience with graphics and compute APIs such as Metal, CUDA, Vulkan, or ROCm. Your ability to leverage these APIs is central to our GPGPU capabilities.

• A demonstrated track record of optimizing complex compute workloads end-to-end, from profiling and bottleneck analysis to micro-architectural tuning, with measurable impact. We need a builder who can deliver tangible performance gains.

• Experience setting technical direction, and making informed architectural trade-offs. Your decisiveness and technical authority will be key to our progress.

• High motivation and the ability to advocate for ideas with clarity, coupled with a collaborative approach to solving complex problems as a team

• A growth mindset, demonstrating the willingness to acquire any niche knowledge required to solve complex tasks.
