About us

We're building the next-generation web search engine for AI. Our infrastructure runs on clusters of 1,000+ machines, processing petabytes of data and powering large-scale retrieval for production AI workloads.
We've raised a top notch seed round from leading US and European investors. Our team is composed of the top 0.1% of talent in the field: PhD researchers and engineers from Amazon Alexa and leading research labs, ex-MBB consultants, and operators from venture-backed startups. We hire only people who can be the best in the world at what they do.
We're already in production with design-partner customers across enterprise search, AI research, and vertical AI applications. The opportunity is enormous. The bar is high. If you want to define a category, this is the place.

The role

We're hiring our first Product Manager. Today, product decisions sit with our CEO and CTO. You will take ownership of everything customers and developers touch: the API surface, the Console, docs, SDKs, MCP integration, and the roadmap for our data verticals across news, people, and finance. You will work directly with our CEO, CTO, and Head of Revenue.
We are very early, and the work reflects it: customer discovery, prioritization, and shipping, not roadmap slides. This is a commercial role as much as a product role. You will spend real time in deals alongside our Head of Revenue, sit in customer and design-partner calls, and what you ship has to help close and expand them.
We are looking for someone who knows this space cold. Search, retrieval, and AI infrastructure are crowded, technical markets. You need to walk in already fluent in how they work, who builds in them, and what buyers actually pay for.

What you'll own

The developer and customer experience. API design reviews, Console, documentation, SDKs, and MCP integration. You own the surface area of the product end to end.
Vertical roadmaps. News, people, and finance. You ground every roadmap decision in design-partner and customer discovery, and you kill what the evidence doesn't support.
From signal to spec. You turn enterprise feedback, win/loss notes, and usage data into prioritized, shippable specs. Engineers build from your writing.
Commercial partnership. You work side by side with our Head of Revenue: pricing and packaging anchored to a defensible value metric, roadmap commitments that win deals, and feedback from live opportunities flowing straight into the product.
Evidence and instrumentation. You define and track the usage signals that tell us what's working, vertical by vertical.
Launch quality. Evals, benchmarks, changelogs, and release communication. What ships is measured, and what's measured is communicated.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of product management experience, and you have worked at a vector database, search, or comparable retrieval or data-infrastructure company. This is a requirement, not a preference.
You know this sector deeply: the players, the architectures, the benchmarks, and what technical buyers in this market pay for.
You are technical enough to query the API yourself, read code, and argue trade-offs with engineers on the merits.
You have run discovery with technical buyers (engineers, CTOs) and can separate what they say from what they need.
You are comfortable operating at a very early stage: ambiguity, thin data, fast iteration, and changing your mind when the evidence says so.
You are based in Europe or the US.

Bonus

Hands-on experience with LLM applications, agent frameworks, or MCP.
You have been the first PM at an early-stage startup before.
Experience with usage-based or consumption pricing models.
Background in information retrieval or ranking beyond the product role: you've worked directly with relevance, evals, or ranking teams.
