We're seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our growing team of 15+ engineers and take ownership of our low-latency video streaming infrastructure. You'll be working at the intersection of cutting-edge WebRTC technology and life-critical medical applications, optimizing our Next.js platform to deliver sub-second latency and 99.9%+ uptime.

Requirements

Must Have:

- 5+ years of professional frontend development experience
- 2+ years working with WebRTC in production (PeerConnection APIs, SDP negotiation, ICE/TURN/STUN)
- Deep expertise in React and Next.js, including performance optimization and code splitting
- Experience with LiveKit or similar WebRTC platforms (Janus, Jitsi, Agora, Twilio)
- Strong understanding of video/audio codecs, bitrate adaptation, and quality metrics
- Proven track record of building low-latency real-time applications
- Experience with WebSockets or SSE for real-time state synchronization
- Solid grasp of web performance profiling and optimization techniques

- Excellent debugging skills for complex timing and race condition issues

Nice to Have:

- Experience with WebAssembly and client-side media processing (FFmpeg, image manipulation)
- Background in media streaming protocols (HLS, DASH, RTP)
- Understanding of network protocols and diagnostics (TCP/UDP, packet capture, latency analysis)
- Experience in highly regulated industries (MedTech, FinTech, critical infrastructure)
- Contributions to open-source WebRTC or media processing projects
- Experience with Rust or Go for performance-critical backend services
- Knowledge of accessibility standards for critical applications
