Working Student Information Security for a HealthTech Startup

WHO WE ARE

We are a team of serial entrepreneurs and investors who have joined forces to build and scale roclub. roclub is a Teleoperation Platform for Medical Technology disrupting the way how MedTech is operated:

• Health Organizations will be able to ensure the operation of their medical technology anywhere, anytime and for any exam.
• Medical Technicians will be able to organize their jobs more flexibly, more independently and from anywhere in the world.
• Patients will never again miss an exam or receive it late due to lack of medical technical staff and expertise.

We are building an international scalable SaaS platform with strong IoT focus.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented working student to join our team and assist with designing and maintaining our IT security and compliance landscape.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our information security management system (ISMS) based on ISO 27001: You support the monitoring, updating and further development of information security strategies, guidelines and processes; and in auditing activities.

You accompany us on our IT compliance journey and support along the way, taking up new tasks as we adopt and implement new frameworks.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

• You enjoy working on complex information management system a structured and independent manner and with strong motivation and commitment. You understand that a well-defined strategy is crucial for the security in the daily work of your colleagues.
• You can tie different areas, e.g. employee training, the importance of proper logging, to the common ground of information security.
• You are conscientious, reliable, and like to take on responsibility.
• People are impressed with your strong detail-orientation and teamwork.
• You are flexible and love to work from remote.
• Absolute trustworthiness and discretion are a matter of course for you.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• Currently enrolled as a student in Germany at a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Business Informatics/Engineering)
• Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus.
• Basic understanding of information security principles, prior experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills and as part of a team.
