Skills
You are an engineering student or equivalent, in a gap year or at the end of your studies
You have excellent communication, project management and problem solving skills, and are proactive in reaching out to partners
You have some experience with Python, Git, and data engineering
You are familiar with one or more carbon impact measurement methodologies: Carbon Footprint, LCA, GHG Protocol, etc.
You can understand industrial processes and break them down into pieces
You are comfortable reading and understanding complex calculation models in a code format
You are detail-oriented and critical, with a keen eye for identifying and discussing potential calculation issues
You like to work in a team, learn, and discover new areas
Please do not worry if you don’t match all these: we prefer people to bullet points, and are interested in discussing with you if you think it is worth it!
🔎 Responsibilities
Collaborate with our partners to manage project certification: collect data, perform LCAs using internal (Python-based) models, and ensure compliance with our eligibility criteria
Understand the technical, carbon, and business aspects of different technologies; from biochar production to electronics refurbishing and carbon dioxide removal
Master our Riverse Standard Rules, eligibility criteria, and methodologies, to enforce quality and rigor in project application reviews and project certification
Engage with clients and adopt a problem-solving mindset to deeply understand the operations of our green technology partners, identifying relevant arguments and evidence to meet Riverse certification requirements
Maintain a balance between quality and pace in certification processes by communicating with project leaders and auditors
