Your focus
Revio's Recovery product makes it possible for merchants to improve their checkout conversion and recurring billing success rates by resolving failed payments and improving customer payment and collection experience.
This role is primarily responsible for functionality enhancement and hardening of technical solutions to improve recovery capabilities, reporting, monitoring, and success rates.
You will work closely with Engineers responsible for delivering capabilities with partners and with our Activation team to onboard new merchants.
The role
Lead requirements gathering and create the product roadmap based on an understanding of business and user needs.
Collaborate with our Product and Development teams to prioritize, spec, and deliver features at pace.
Articulate build requirements and user stories, ensuring high quality and clarity among all team members.
Define and support implementation of key product metrics to measure payment success rates and produce client reporting of success rates
Continuously optimize the recovery platform using relevant metrics and feedback from existing and prospective customers. Promote the principles of continuous and measurable improvement.
Support product marketing, translating technical details into benefits for the user, and inputting into product marketing strategies (pricing, marketing campaigns, website content).
Contribute a genuine passion and enthusiasm for your products and mission, and for solving our customers’ needs.
Assist with the recruitment of new team members as required.
Who you are
A dynamic self-starter and recovery expert who wants to build a business, not just work for one. You’ll have at least:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Marketing & Communications, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science) or equivalent qualification
3+ years of experience working as a business analyst, project manager, or product owner, in the payments and collections industry, ideally with exposure to customer engagement
Experience with no- and low-code tools, PostgreSQL, and JSON RESTful APIs strongly preferred
Knowledge of communications industry regulations, compliance requirements, and methods to ensure our teams and our products meet and exceed these standards
A customer-centric mindset with a deep understanding of user behavior and the ability to translate customer feedback into product improvements
A servant-leadership mindset and the ability to manage through influence and inspire teams to innovate and achieve business goals
Proficiency in project management with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work with stakeholders to proactively manage project risks, budgets, and timelines
Proficiency in developing technical documentation and interrogating technical solutions to quickly identify relevant technical requirements based on business and product objectives
Proficiency in wrangling data, producing analyses, and leveraging product analytics to make informed product decisions and optimize payment processes
Proficiency in employing prioritization techniques to make great judgments around what work to prioritize and to make efficient allocations of resources
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills capable of effectively and succinctly explaining complex concepts in plain language
