Your mission:

As our Senior Controller, your main responsibility will be to oversee the financial planning and analysis function within our organization. You will report directly to our VP of Finance and play a crucial role in providing valuable financial insights, analysis, and strategic recommendations to drive business performance and improve decision-making processes. This includes ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting and reporting to support our financial objectives.

Your responsibilities:  

• You drive the financial planning and analysis function and work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute the annual budgeting process, monthly forecasting and long-term financial planning.
• You conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities and risks for revenue growth as well as cost optimization, providing substantial insights to the management team.
  
• You prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including variance analysis, key performance indicators (KPIs) and actionable recommendations to executive management and stakeholders.
• You improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial analysis and reporting processes by building and enhancing financial models, tools and dashboards. 
• You track and monitor financial performance against set targets, while proactively identifying and raising areas of concern or improvement opportunities.
• You are the business partner across the organization, supporting budgeting and forecasting and preparing business cases and ad-hoc models to influence company-wide decision-making while ensuring alignment and effective communication of financial goals and strategy.
• You are curious when it comes to industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes impacting financial planning and analysis - incorporating applicable insights into the organization's financial strategy and processes.

What you'll bring along to be successful:
  

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field. 
• You have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Management Consulting or Finance BI roles.
  
• You are fluent in written and spoken German and English.
  
• You have strong analytical skills and proven experience in reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
  
• You are proficient in using financial modeling techniques and tools to support strategic decision-making.
  
• You have a strong understanding of financial statements, financial concepts as well as key performance metrics.
  
• You pay strong attention to detail and accuracy and assess as well as analyze complex data sets in order to extract meaningful insights.
• You have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• You have demonstrated the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• You hold a strong business acumen and the ability to think strategically while keeping a hands-on approach.
