YOUR ROLE

As a Lead AI Engineer, you will productize our remberg AI-Copilot, developing and deploying cutting-edge AI technologies on top of the remberg Asset Platform to deliver 10x productivity gains for our customers. You will guide your team, drive the AI strategy, and lead initiatives to expand and improve our product, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and customer-focused solutions.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and mentor a team of AI engineers, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.

• Define the strategic direction for AI at remberg, aligning project priorities with company goals.

• Act as the key point of contact for AI-related initiatives, ensuring cross-team collaboration.

• Design, develop, and deploy AI models and algorithms, prioritizing performance and scalability.

• Enhance infrastructure and data pipelines for modern machine learning applications, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

• Integrate proprietary data sources (e.g., maintenance reports, service tickets) into our AI-Copilot.

• Work with engineering teams to seamlessly integrate AI solutions into product functionalities.

• Optimize AI solution performance to meet quality standards and user expectations.

• Stay up to date with advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.

• Spread AI knowledge within the organization, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.

YOUR PROFILE

• Leadership experience with the ability to guide and mentor a team while ensuring smooth collaboration.

• Excellent communication skills and a team-player mindset, aligning technical execution with strategic goals.

• 2+ years of experience developing and implementing AI solutions, preferably in production environments for B2B SaaS.

• Strong understanding of RAG, ETL jobs, and machine learning algorithms and frameworks.

• Proficient in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript; experience in Angular and NestJS is a plus.

• Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) techniques and tools.

• Strong analytical skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

• Comfortable with or eager to grow expertise in technologies such as Angular, NestJS, Node.js, MongoDB, AWS Services, Azure OpenAI, langfuse, GitLab, Sentry, GitHub Copilot, Nx, Python, Ionic, Capacitor, SQLite, Kubernetes, Redshift, Glue, and ArgoCD.

• Bachelor's, Master’s, or higher degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

• Strong written and spoken command of English (C1 level).

• Hybrid role based in Munich, with in-office collaboration required.
