Team Certification Operations Job type 6-month internship Created 22/06/2026 Start date September 2026 Location Paris, Lyon Application closing 30/07/26 The role We're looking for a curious, analytical and highly organised intern to join Rainbow's Certification Operations team. You'll review project data, help prepare certification documents, work with project developers and support certification processes. You'll also help improve how we certify projects as we continue to build and refine our methodology. This is a hands-on role. You'll work with climate specialists, learn how carbon certification works in practice and take ownership of real work. You’ll be key in ensuring that our methodologies drive rigorous, and reliable outcomes. What you'll do Work with project developers making complex requirements accessible Support project developers in collecting the information we need Review project data and technical documentation Conduct certification reviews Coordinate with internal teams and third-party auditors Track project progress and keep work moving Suggest improvements to our platform and the way we work Who you are You’re studying a MSc in Environmental Science, Climate Science or a related discipline You communicate clearly and work well both independently and with others You've studied Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) or Carbon Footprinting You’re interested in carbon markets, climate technology or environmental sustainability You’re keen to develop practical experience in carbon certification You're organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and high agency You’re curious, always asking questions and learning from the people around you You speak English. French is a bonus Recruitment process 15min introduction call with Samara (Carbon Credit Certification Specialist) 2h practical case (async) 45min interview to debrief the case with Sam (our lead Ops) and Clément (our CPTO) 45min conversation with two members of the team Environment & Benefits Competitive salary Paid internship (1300 to 1750€ / month depending on your experience) Office location Office in Lyon (preferred), or Paris.
