Supply Chain Coordinator – Mandarin speaking

About the role:

We are looking for a capable and motivated Supply Chain Coordinator to support the Supply Chain here at Porotech, there will be in house training in this position, so, as long as you are highly organised, have a methodical approach and are fluent in English and Mandarin, we want to hear from you.

This is a vital role, ensuring that our microLED products are able to be distributed to their destinations as efficiently as possible, as we scale to meet increasing demand from our globally-recognised customers.

Key responsibilities:

• Negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials or services.
• Maintain supplier relationships by using your great communication skills, by telephone and email.
• Evaluate vendor performance, and address supply issues.
• Supporting technical purchase orders by prepare related information such as request form, written approval, and quotation to ensure timely placement and delivery of goods in line with project schedule.
• Expedite and reschedule open purchase orders to meet production requirements.
• Working closely with internal departments to ensure customer demands are met.
• Ensuring the UK export process is smooth with correct packing, freight, documents, and invoicing procedures.
• Supporting company’s import and export worldwide Logistics activities.
• Obtain order acknowledgements and ensure shipping date is reflected on the record.
• Monitor shipment and reply to customs when necessary to ensure all shipment are delivered successfully.
• Maintaining and updating the customer profile database with specific customer delivery requirements, including packing specs, delivery addresses, etc.
• Optimise logistics processes for efficiency and cost savings.
• Work with the accounts team to resolve invoice issues.
• Packaging and quantity check when receiving a shipment.
• Recording all technical shipping and receiving details.
• Generate analysis data to support decision-making
• Fluent in Mandarin a must

• Willing to learn
• Able to communicate with top level management, couriers, factory workers and suppliers
• Observant and excellent attention-to-detail
• Competent IT Skills
• Ability to work independently to meet agreed objectives and timelines
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
