The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for selling the Oze Lending Management System to Microfinance Institutions enabling MFIs to launch digital lending products for MSMEs through the Oze platform.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and engage decision-makers at MFIs and small banks to promote and sell the company’s lending management solutions.
  • Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy targeting MFIs across key regions.
  • Drive the full sales cycle, from cold outreach and lead generation to contract negotiations and deal closure.
  • Partner with marketing and product teams to create compelling value propositions tailored to the unique needs of small financial institutions.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with current clients by offering additional services and solutions.
  • Collaborate with the lending team to ensure smooth onboarding, continuous client satisfaction, and month-on-month increases in loan disbursements through partners.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies and stay ahead of the curve.

Minimum requirements and skills:

  • A strong passion for solving challenges with and for MSMEs
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on financial institutions or fintech solutions.
  • Proven success in selling SaaS products to financial institutions, particularly in emerging markets.
  • In-depth knowledge of lending processes, financial inclusion initiatives, and the challenges faced by MFIs.
  • Familiarity with lending software, core banking systems, or fintech solutions aimed at financial inclusion.
  • Strong knowledge of the Ghanaian financial sector, especially MFIs.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a full sales pipeline.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of building and managing successful sales teams.
  • Excellent negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and efficiently on a cross-cultural team in a fast-paced environment.

Please note that this is the first role in a new enterprise sales team. If you are successful you can be quickly promoted to Director, build a sales team and work regionally.
