Orakl Oncology is a techbio company, based in Paris and aiming to transform the fight against cancer. Orakl Oncology is a spin-off from the Gustave Roussy Institute, our offices are located in Paris and our lab in le Kremlin-Bicêtre, France. We have more than 30 years of combined research in the oncology field and we’re now looking for the best talents to come and join our ambitious team in the fight against cancer!
We’re looking for a biologist/engineer with 5+ years of experience to help us develop and manage Orakl’s lab infrastructure that will be at the heart of our success. This will involve:
Designing state-of-the-art workflows and processes
Implementing and upholding work standards in the lab. This can involve for instance conducting regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure consistent performance or developing standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Designing an implementing the onboarding process for new users
Managing the lab supplies
Participating in the laboratory procurement processes
Managing the laboratory workflows and scheduling
Assisting in maintaining the lab regulatory compliance
This position reports directly to our CTO and also needs to work effectively and collaboratively with the teams at Orakl Oncology responsible for delivering contracts with our partners.

Need-to-haves:
5+ years of managing lab operations.
Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture, 3D cell culture and preferably organoid culture.
In-depth experience in ordering and managing lab equipment and consumables.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational rigour.
Exceptional management skills.
History of implementing state-of-the-art processes and good engineering practices (LIMS/eLN, sample traceability etc.).
Fluency in English is required.
Nice-to-haves:
Experience in Python (Flask is a plus)
You’re resourceful and have experience overcoming operational challenges
You have experience with general biochemistry and molecular biology technique (western blot, ELISA, qPCR etc.)
Familiarity with workflow management systems is a plus.
