Orakl Oncology is a techbio company, based in Paris and aiming to transform the fight against cancer. We combine best-in-class biology with data-powered and AI-driven analysis to enable companies to identify and optimise new anti-cancer therapies. We are an interdisciplinary platform working at the intersection of cell biology, engineering and machine learning.
Orakl Oncology is a spin-off from the Gustave Roussy Institute, our offices are located in Paris and our lab in le Kremlin-Bicêtre, France. We have more than 30 years of combined research in the oncology field and we’re now looking for the best talents to come and join our ambitious team in the fight against cancer!
We’re looking for a stellar research assistant to help us develop and run Orakl’s lab. This person would be a key player in the development of the company. In particular, this position will consist in:
Participating in the lab installation and development
Maintaining the Orakl biobank
Handling core experiments for internal and external research programs
Maintaining the lab environment to maximise research efficiency of the Orakl scientists. In particular this person will be instrumental in the design of the lab operation processes, from cell culture to quality control.
This position reports directly to our CTO and also needs to work effectively and collaboratively with the teams at Orakl Oncology responsible for delivering contracts with our partners.

Need-to-haves:
MSc in cellular biology, bioengineering or any related field.
Extensive lab experience.
Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture, 3D cell culture and preferably organoid culture.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational rigour.
History of implementing state-of-the-art processes and good engineering practices (LIMS/eLN, sample traceability etc.).
Flexibility, resourcefulness and a history of overcoming operational challenges.
A genuine enthusiasm and passion for teamwork and learning.
Fluency in English is required.
Nice-to-haves:
You have experience with general biochemistry and molecular biology technique (western blot, ELISA, qPCR etc.)
If you have experience in CRISPR on mammalian cells it would be a big plus
You have experience in microscopy
