The Role
Here at One.Five, we’re on a mission to reduce single use plastic impact on our planet.
We’re looking for a passionate, self driven individual to join our expanding sales teams and help share our mission; as well as build our brand and client portfolio in the exciting, emerging market of sustainability.
We’re looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive commercial growth across the business. This position is responsible for market development, mainly generating sales from new leads.
We are looking for a talented, driven, sustainability minded person to join our fast growing company.
Given the remote first nature of our team, this role can be based anywhere in Europe (preference for DACH), but you will need to be available to travel to customer visits and the Holm based facility at least monthly.

How you'll help build one

- You're an expert with understanding of the flexible packaging and/or paper industries space, who can be an asset to both internal and external stakeholders
- You’re able to drive new customer acquisition and expand existing customer commercial activity to maximise revenue growth
- You have the ability to identify market opportunities and formulate sales tactics
- You have experience developing accurate sales forecasts and delivering against those targets
- High level negotiation and influencing skills
- Highly motivated, fast learner, excited of market penetration challenges
- Fluent in English, additional languages are an advantage
- Ability to travel throughout Europe (min once per month)
- You have experience in the packaging sector (flexible or paper packaging preferred)
- Proven experience delivering aggressive growth and sales development, mainly generating new accounts via direct sales to large brands. Expanded existing customers' activity via up-sale of new products
- Experience selling to CPGs, retailers and SMBs
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for positive engagement
- Ideally a university degree (or equivalent relevant field experience) in business, packaging or sustainability

- Application Review and TA Screen. Your application will be reviewed and if successful, one of our Talent Acquisition team will reach out and book in a 30 minute introductory Google Hangouts call.
- Hiring Manager call: If successful, you'll move on to a more in depth professional call with one of our awesome hiring managers. Here we'll delve deeper into your commercial experience and aspirations, lasting around 1 hour over Google Meet.
- Team call: If successful, you'll then move on to discuss current company culture and ways of working with other senior members of the team. To demonstrate your ways of working, you may be asked to present a small task to the team as part of your call.
- Final Culture and Values Call with the Founder(s). Providing you with a solid understanding of the future aims, values and aspirations of the company.
