What we're looking for
We're looking for a talented Product Designer to join the Nook team. You will have the imagination and initiative to take a high-level concept and develop the product requirements and designs for the engineering team to implement. You will be able to balance your ideas with contributions from others in the team and clients.
You will be a great fit if you
Have 5+ years of full-time experience as a designer or product owner
Experienced with Figma
Produce detailed and thoughtful product requirements and user stories
Experience working with users to gather their feedback
Care about the detail and always participate in QA to ensure final delivery is to the highest standard
Are strong in UI, UX or visual design but can offer working skills across all areas of product design
Have experience across web and mobile
Have experience in developing assets for social media, emails, blogs, events, digital adverts, etc. (bonus )
Have good communication skills in written and spoken English
Some activities you would do on a typical day at Nook
Developing user stories and product requirements for the engineering team
Implementing designs in Figma
Reviewing our own product and user behaviour to identify opportunities to improve
Reviewing competitor products and identifying their best features
Where required, work with the commercial team to deliver collateral to support business growth (e.g. design for website & marketing materials).
