About Nomos

We strive to make energy free for European households. We achieve this by developing new energy products with Europe’s leading technology companies and embed energy as a cost-saving feature for electric vehicles, heat pumps, battery storage systems and more.

About the team

Started by Stefan and Nils in 2024, the Nomos team now consists of former researchers, founders and senior engineers united by a deep frustration of the current energy system and the vision to build a category leading enterprise out of Europe.

We strive to build a strong culture of effective communication, ownership and belonging. In this critical phase of our venture this translates to working in-person in Berlin Mitte with a group of people that value meritocracy, curiosity and craftsmanship.

What you’ll do

Own special projects from day one. Whether it's improving internal processes, handling critical ops tasks, or tackling one-off challenges, you’ll have the autonomy to own initiatives end-to-end and execute fast & effectively.

• Work directly with the founders and solve messy, high-impact problems

• Keep the wheels turning: manage and optimize key operational processes.

• Find A+ problems that drive us forward and execute on them end-to-end

• Be a learning machine! We want you to grow with us and solve hard challenges that lie outside your comfort zone.
  

Who you are

We are primarily interested in your motivation and ability to grow. We value grit and ambition above experience and expertise. While there is no perfect candidate, the points below give you an indication of what we are looking for:

• You are allergic to phrases like “that’s how things are done around here”, “that’s not possible” and “no”.

• Your working style could be described as “kind and charming but ruthless”

• You think, communicate and execute in a structured way

• You take extreme ownership of ideas and drive projects to completion

• You’ve proven yourself in a high performance environment with previous internships in startups, investment banking or strategy consulting.
