⚡️ About Nomos
We help hardware companies launch their own electricity plans by abstracting all legal and operational complexity of an electricity retailer into a simple API layer. One year in, Europe’s leading solar and heat pump retailers are building their energy plan on Nomos.
Nomos focuses on making energy cheaper for 200 million European households. We achieve this by developing new energy products and offering them as embedded features for Europe’s leading technology companies (e.g. EnergyTechs, EV manufactures and heat pump installers).
We transform businesses into full-service energy providers and offer consumers cost saving and convenient energy plans. Have a look at our website and our API documentation to learn more.

We raised capital from tier-1 investors, including the founders of Forto, Soundcloud, Dance, Swan, Polarstern Energie, Enode and more.
You will join a lean, talent-dense team and work directly with Stefan (CEO). Started by Nils (CTO) and Stefan in 2024, the Nomos team now consists of former researchers, open-source founders and senior engineers united by a deep frustration of the current energy system and the vision to build a category leading enterprise out of Europe.
We work in a beautiful office in Berlin-Mitte. We strive to build a strong culture of effective communication, ownership and belonging. In this critical phase of our venture this translates to working in-person in Berlin with a likeminded group of humble and ambitious people.
What you’ll do
🗒️ In short
Make it look easy. Scaling a full-service electricity retailer is no small feat. You will be pivotal in servicing our customers (aka getting your hands dirty), defining core processes and ultimately delivering simplicity by dealing with the underlying complexity.
Own special projects from day one. Whether it's improving internal processes, handling critical ops tasks, or tackling one-off challenges, you’ll have the autonomy to own initiatives end-to-end and execute fast & effectively.
✨ Responsibilities
Own our energy infrastructure processes, managing relationships with grid operators, energy suppliers and transmission system operators.
You’re the person between a signup and a happy customer: Monitor Nomos OS, troubleshoot clearing cases and define processes for effective operations.
Build automations to simplify procurement and customer service processes.
Be a learning machine! We want you to grow with us and solve hard challenges that lie outside your comfort zone.

Hiring Process
First Call (30min): Get to know Nomos & Stefan and evaluate general fit.
Second Call (30min): Meeting with Nils, learn how we build product at Nomos
Case Study (60-90min): Work on a real business problem with Stefan
On-Site Day in our Berlin office: Get to know us in person! We will work on improving a core process together that day.
Reference Checks: We give you the chance to talk to our team, investors and past colleagues and we’d appreciate the same from you.
Offer: We value your time and aim to keep the process effective and lean. Expect a decision within a week after the on-site day.
