Who we are
⚡️ About Nomos
We are building an API-first electricity retailer to offer embedded dynamic energy plans. We abstract all legal and operational complexity into a simple API layer and help leading companies launch their own electricity plans. Have a look at our website and our API documentation to learn more.

Still in stealth, we have raised a $2m pre-seed round from tier-1 investors, including the founders of Forto, Soundcloud, Dance, Swan, Polarstern Energie, Enode and more.
We work in a beautiful office in Berlin-Mitte. We strive to build a strong culture of effective communication, ownership and belonging. In this critical phase of our venture this translates to working in-person in Berlin with a truly exceptional group of hackers and painters.
Who you are

You thrive working in person in a small team that holds each other accountable
You take extreme ownership of ideas and drive projects to completion.
You are excited about solving complex energy challenges that help drive our generation forward
If technical
You have 2+ years of experience in full-stack development, ideally with TypeScript
You are excited about solving complex engineering challenges in the energy space
You are driven by nonconformist curiosity and have shown this in your career or side projects - we’re excited to hear about these!
If operational
You are allergic to phrases like “that’s how things are done around here”, “that’s not possible” and “no”.
Your working style could be described as “kind and charming but ruthless”
You think, communicate and execute in a structured way
You’ve proven yourself in a high performance environment for at least 2 years
Hiring Process
First Call (30min): Get to know Nomos & Stefan and evaluate general fit.
Second Call (30min): Short product Demo with Nils, learn how we build product at Nomos
Technical Challenge / Case Study (60-90min): Coding challenge with Nils / Case Study with Stefan
On-Site Day in our Berlin office: Get to know us in person! We will work together on a real challenge as a team.
