As a Senior Robotics Engineer (Mobile), you will develop, deploy and test infrastructure for teleoperation and learning in the context of mobile-based dexterous robotic manipulation, and closely work with our robotics and AI team to achieve safe and robust operation on site.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction of mobile base solutions for our AI-driven manipulation platforms
- Deploy, test and develop ROS2, Python/C++/Rust software that makes our robots come to life
- Guide robotics and AI team members in the context of mobile robotics, AGVs and their safety aspects
- Support on-site deployment of the mobile systems, and interface with our customers’ safety solutions if needed
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of work experience in developing, integrating and deploying mobile robotic systems in an industrial environment.
- Proficiency in Python and C++
- Proficiency with Linux.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in Rust.
- Experience in industrial safety in the context of mobile platforms.
- Experience in utilising learning-based controllers in robotics.
