Role overview

We are seeking for a QA engineer. Currently we have a desktop app (TypeScript, Vue.js, Electron.js) with core that combines the efficiency of TypeScript with the performance of C++, and an orchestrating engine with workflow language (GoLang, TypeScript) as a server. This role focuses on ensuring the quality of the desktop application.

Key Responsibilities

  • test new features;
  • implement autotests on TypeScript;
  • develop test plans and checklists for complex tasks;
  • directly participate in gathering and analyzing requirements (including with English-speaking stakeholders), assessing risks and minimizing them.

This role offers significant potential for professional advancement

  • implement from scratch the whole process of manual and automation testing of the desktop application on different operating systems;
  • implement support and amplify automatic tests infrastructure;
  • establish processes within the team to ensure quality at all stages of product development;
  • manage the scope of the team's automated tests and the automation backlog in collaboration with bioinformatics scientists.

We expect than you

  • have at least 1 years of experience in QA and a passion for high-quality products;
  • have experience in building test models.

It would be a plus if you

  • possess practical knowledge in the field of testing (test design, types of testing, testing pyramid, etc.);
  • understand testing optimization methods;
  • are proficient in at least one programming language and willing to learn new languages.
