Role Overview

We are on the hunt for a Technical Writer with a bioinformatics flair. This unique role blends clear, engaging technical writing with a foundational understanding of bioinformatics, serving as a bridge between our software developers and our global user community. Your work will not only illuminate the capabilities of MiXCR but will also shape its representation in the broader scientific community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, refine, and manage technical documentation, ensuring clarity and precision.
  • Engage with product developers to gain an intimate understanding of our platform and its features.
  • Translate intricate software mechanics into user-friendly content.
  • Generate content for social media platforms like LinkedIn and Twitter, catering to our user base.
  • Support basic bioinformatics tasks, harnessing our MiXCR's capabilities for varied data types.
  • Prioritize single-sourcing and content reuse for optimal documentation management.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer or a similar role, with samples of past work.
  • A degree in Biology, Bioinformatics or a related domain.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with MiXCR or comparable bioinformatics software is advantageous.
  • Acumen in distilling complex concepts into clear, digestible content.
