Your Mission

As a Data Analytics Intern at Mercanis, you will support our product, business, and operations teams by transforming data into actionable insights. You will explore complex datasets, build intuitive dashboards, and help stakeholders make data-informed decisions that shape the future of procurement technology. Your Stellar Role

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Business Operations, and Customer Success to gather requirements and deliver analytics that drive strategic decisions.
• Analyze user behavior, product performance, and operational efficiency across the company.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Metabase and Amplitude to track KPIs and business metrics.
• Translate complex data into clear and concise visualizations and presentations tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support ad hoc data requests and conduct exploratory analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

Your Profile Requirements

• You are currently enrolled in or have recently completed a degree in Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• You have a genuine interest in working with data and enjoy drawing insights from it to tell compelling stories.
• You have initial experience with data analytics tools like Metabase, Amplitude, or similar (hands-on project or internship experience is a plus).
• You possess a strong analytical mindset and are comfortable with tools such as SQL, Excel, or Python/R.
• You are detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• You can communicate your findings clearly in English—both verbally and in writing; German is a plus but not required.
