About the Company
Eleving Group is a publicly listed international fintech company founded in 2012. Today, we operate in 17 countries across 3 continents, providing consumer, vehicle, and smartphone financing. With more than 4300 employees worldwide, we are driven by innovation, growth, and a commitment to making financing accessible.
Mogo's mission is to enable upward social mobility for people in diverse communities around the world by providing entrepreneurs who are excluded from traditional banking systems with access to credit. By combining asset financing, fintech, AI-based underwriting, and proprietary car portals, we enable these local entrepreneurs (motorcycle taxi riders, Uber/Bolt drivers, and small business owners) to find and purchase their own vehicles.
About the Role
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our product team and own the day-to-day product operations in Tanzania. You will be the on-the-ground point of contact for our Customer App and Sales App in the Tanzanian market - coordinating feature rollouts, running testing, talking to customers, and driving ad-hoc product projects end-to-end. This role sits within the product team and works closely with the Product Owner based in Kenya.
What You Will Do
-
Customer App - Tanzania
Own the Customer App in the Tanzanian market - act as the main point of contact between the product team and local stakeholders
Coordinate and manage the rollout of new features in Tanzania, including planning, communication, and post-launch monitoring
Organise and run testing cycles for new releases - gather structured feedback from internal testers and real users before each rollout
Conduct customer interviews to understand how customers use the app, what is working, and what needs to be improved
Translate local market needs and customer insights into clear requirements for the product team
Track key app metrics in Tanzania and flag issues or opportunities to the Product Owner
-
Sales App - Tanzania
Own the Sales App in the Tanzanian market - be the primary link between field agents, sales management, and the product team
Coordinate the rollout of new Sales App features with the local sales team, including training and adoption tracking
Run structured testing with sales agents before new versions go live, documenting issues and ensuring they are resolved
Conduct regular interviews and feedback sessions with field agents to surface usability problems and unmet needs
Monitor how the Sales App is being used in the field and identify where agents are struggling or working around the tool
Ensure that Tanzania-specific process requirements are properly captured and fed into the product backlog
-
Ad-hoc Product Projects
Lead or support ad-hoc product projects relevant to the Tanzanian market, such as integrations with local payment providers, risk or ID verification partners, or telecom operators
Manage project delivery end-to-end - define scope, coordinate stakeholders, track progress, and ensure timely completion
Work with external vendors and internal IT teams to align on requirements, timelines, and acceptance criteria
Document project outcomes and hand over operational processes to the relevant teams once a project goes live
Identify and escalate risks or blockers early, and keep the Product Owner informed of progress throughout
