About the Company
Eleving Group is a publicly listed international fintech company founded in 2012. Today, we operate in 17 countries across 3 continents, providing consumer, vehicle, and smartphone financing. With more than 4300 employees worldwide, we are driven by innovation, growth, and commitment to make financing accessible.
Mogo's mission is to enable upward social mobility for people in diverse communities around the world by providing entrepreneurs who are excluded from traditional banking systems with access to credit. By combining asset financing, fintech, AI-based underwriting, and proprietary car portals, we enable these local entrepreneurs (motorcycle taxi riders, Uber/Bolt drivers, and small business owners) to find and purchase their own vehicles.
About the Role
We're looking for an IT Project Manager to join our Africa & Asia regional team and lead the successful delivery of technology initiatives across multiple markets, working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
What You Will Do
Define problems, opportunities, and success outcomes, while empowering the team to determine how to get there
Define clear project scope, constraints, and priorities to ensure delivery within set timelines
Communicate intent through diagrams, sketches, and outlines rather than exhaustive documentation
Communicate with users, customer support, and business stakeholders to understand needs, pain points, and strategic direction
Pitch shaped work to the leadership team for consideration in upcoming development cycles
Identify potential technical issues upfront and team up with senior developers to validate feasibility
Keep specs lean and clear – just enough for the team to get started without overloading on documentation
Review delivered work against the original intent and stakeholder needs
What You Have
Proven experience in IT project management, preferably within the fintech, financial services, or other fast-paced, dynamic environments
Systems thinking – ability to see how a feature fits into the bigger picture and shape it into a clear, manageable task
UX and technical awareness – ability to sketch interface ideas and understand how they might be implemented, without being a designer or developer
Ability to pitch ideas clearly and concisely in writing and verbally
Customer-centric mindset
Being comfortable with trade-offs and limiting scope to ensure projects are delivered within time constraints
Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and carrying them forward
Bonus points for:
Experience with large-scale software projects
Experience with finance products and related processes
What We Offer
Health insurance
Performance-based bonus
Learning, development, and career growth opportunities across an international company
Active social agenda with team events and company initiatives
