About Khazna

Khazna was founded in 2019 with a mission to improve the financial well-being of the underbanked, who have little access to formal financial services by providing access to convenient, effective, and secure smartphone-based financial services. Khazna has received the Central Bank of Egypt’s first prepaid card license and aims to become the go-to specialized bank for underbanked mid-to-low-income consumers across the Middle East. In the next phase of its journey, Khazna is looking to continue scaling up its operations in Egypt and to launch its operations in Saudi Arabia. We are consistently on the lookout for rock stars to help us solve for financial inclusion.

Who are we looking for

Khazna is looking for a Head of Growth to help us understand our target user segments' evolving needs and personas and grow our user base. You will develop hypotheses, test them, analyze the outcome, produce actionable insights, and reiterate when needed. You will use internal and external user research you gather and synthesize along with produced insights to grow Khazna’s user base. The insights you and your team produce will help stakeholders and teams across the organization craft better strategies and roadmaps. You will be the champion for customer obsession, one of Khazna’s core values. You’ll be given a ton of ownership to define the evolution of the product and will be working hand-in-hand with the leadership team to drive the growth of the business.

What you’ll do

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer behavior and needs and Khazna’s vision, mission, products, and business models.
  • Own the process of hypothesis development, testing, and reiteration with the aim of a deeper understanding of customer behavior and userbase growth.
  • Devise growth initiatives based on produced insights.
  • Lead performance marketing to efficiently grow our user base and optimize for profitable growth
  • Develop and implement customer lifecycle management strategies
  • Identify and analyze key metrics to evaluate and validate growth initiatives.
  • Lead customer and market research to understand market trends, customer needs, and personas.
  • Coordinate the integration and translation of primary, secondary, competitive, and environmental insights into growth strategies for Khazna’s products and services.
  • Identify both strategic opportunities and potential threats associated with emerging technologies and platforms.
  • Advise stakeholders on the development and implementation of new and existing growth products and markets and as a result, share accountability for their success.
  • Develop growth strategies and contribute to improving our strategic planning process.
  • Use a variety of strategies including digital and product-oriented to grow userbase.
  • Clearly communicate and present your insights and learnings with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience, preferably in strategy /growth/user research-related functions and in fast-paced organizations

• Proven ability to perform complex analyses and synthesize data into actionable insights

• Strong presentation and communication skills

• Ability to work under uncertainty and deal with tight deadlines

• Strong stakeholder management skills

• Prior experience in managing and leading a team
