Head of Product Marketing
Harbor Lab
ABOUT HARBOR LAB
Founded in 2020 in Greece, Harbor Lab is a fast-growing B2B maritime tech company on a mission to simplify and optimize port cost management. Our end-to-end, AI-powered SaaS platform transforms how Shipowners and Shipmanagers handle Disbursement Accounts (DAs), bringing automation, real-time data, control and transparency to one of the most complex and costly parts of global shipping.
But we don’t stop there. Harbor Lab also powers a thriving Marketplace, connecting Principals with a global network of vetted Port Agents and Vendors.
At Harbor Lab, people come first. Our culture is anchored in ambition, trustworthiness, genuine care, and agility—values we bring to every interaction with our customers and our team. We're proud to be consistently recognized as a Best Workplace (2021, 2022, 2023) and recently certified as a Great Place to Work (2024).
If you're looking to make a global impact, grow alongside passionate peers, and shape the future of maritime innovation—we’d love to meet you.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Harbor Lab is at the stage where product strength is clear, demand is global, and our next phase depends on turning scattered insight into a repeatable, segment-led go-to-market motion. We now need a Head of Product Marketing who can turn the market’s messy reality into clarity, narrative, and commercial discipline.
This isn’t a classic PMM role. You’ll be the person who defines where we play, why we win, and how we scale across three different ICPs with very different behaviours. You’ll set the spine that GTM and Product will follow, from segmentation and messaging, to pricing, to how we run launches and learn from the field.
Success looks like a business that sells with confidence, a product roadmap anchored to real market priorities, and a GTM system that works the same way in Athens, Hamburg and Singapore.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Segmenting and defining our market
You’ll take the lead on codifying Owners, Traders and Technical Managers, how they buy, why they buy, and what value means to each. You’ll build clear ICPs, shape the segment strategy, and define which battles we pick and when.
Narrative and positioning
You’ll create the Harbor Lab story, not as marketing decoration but as the commercial logic the whole organisation uses. You’ll build value propositions per ICP, craft our “why now” and “why us”, and tell the category story with credibility in a conservative industry.
Sales enablement that moves numbers
You’ll produce material sellers actually use, because it’s built with them, not for them. Battlecards, segment decks, ROI framing, objection handling, talk tracks, and evidence that lands with Owners, Traders and Technical Managers. You’ll measure what gets adopted and what shifts behaviour.
Competitive clarity
You’ll map our competitors, and maintain a clear point of view on how we win against each in every segment. You’ll translate product strengths into commercial levers and create confidence in our value, not lists of features.
Pricing and packaging as a strategic lever
You’ll lead the thinking on packaging and pricing by segment, region and complexity. You’ll work with Finance and Product to shape value-based pricing, and run experiments to find what accelerates deals and supports global expansion.
Launch orchestration
You’ll run launches as company-wide readiness moments, not feature announcements. Messaging, enablement, customer stories, website, internal training, competitive positioning and feedback loops. You’ll make sure every launch lands the same way across regions.
Discovery for emerging segments
Technical Managers require a different approach. You’ll run structured discovery, validate needs, and turn insight into messaging, demos, evidence and roadmap guidance.
Insights and feedback loops
You’ll own win/loss, churn analysis and CS intelligence. You’ll turn this into clear guidance on what GTM should change and what Product should build, backed by data.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- 7–10+ years in PMM or GTM strategy roles in B2B SaaS, ideally where you built or rebuilt PMM from scratch.
- Commercially minded operator who has built PMM in global B2B SaaS (narrative, GTM structure, scale).
- Experience shaping segment-level GTM plans and owning launches that moved the numbers.
- Strong collaborator and facilitator; excellent writing/storytelling; comfortable with data (SQL/BI a plus) and financial framing (ROI/TCO).
Bonus points if you have:
- Maritime/logistics/fintech background; pricing & packaging experiments
- Building product marketing from scratch
- Experience localizing across EMEA/APAC
WHAT WE OFFER
- Attractive compensation package based on experience and skillset
- 30 days of paid annual leave
- Comprehensive private health insurance coverage for your entire family
- Hybrid way of work
- Yoga classes, Life Coach, Running Coach and Kick-Boxing Sessions
- Cool start-up environment (with swag, and much more)
