About Our Partner
The selected candidate will be employed by a renowned, leading Greek Shipping Company based in Piraeus. Our Partner operates a diversified fleet of oil & chemical tankers and dry bulk carrier vessels. More details will be shared with the candidates during the first interview round.
About The Role
As a Junior Disbursement Analyst, you will handle port and husbandry costs analysis following Harbor Lab's standards. You will also work with one of the most important parties for a vessel's operation, the Agents or any other third party, aiming to provide the smoothest experience for the vessel's and the company's operations. You will have the chance to do all that by using Harbor Lab's cutting-edge technology platform, experiencing firsthand how technology can disrupt and optimize traditional processes.

About The Role
As a Junior Disbursement Analyst, you will handle port and husbandry costs analysis following Harbor Lab's standards. What You Will Be Doing
- Monitor Operators' Agency appointments
- Check and Review the PDA and FDA costs following Harbor Lab's standards
- Negotiate with agents and/or port service providers, look for spot agreements or contracts
- Review charter party, worldscale, bimco, etc. to identify and mark Charterer's Account or rebillable items, if any in the proforma or final DA
- Cooperate with the Accounting department for the prompt payment of PDAs and FDAs
- Effectively communicate with internal and external business stakeholders
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE
- BSc degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping Management, Maritime Economics or related field. A MSc degree will be an asset. A completed ICS degree will be considered a plus.
- 0-2 years of experience in Disbursements Operations, Post-Fixture or Freight Voyage Analysis departments in a Shipping Company
- Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
- Be creative, outgoing, and enthusiastic with a "can-do" attitude
- Be ambitious to learn and develop
- Strive to be the success story
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Familiarity with a shipping company's day-to-day operations will be a plus.
- Fulfilled military obligations (where applicable)
