Your Role in Our Journey
- Oversee the preparation of monthly statutory accounts and year-end statutory accounts with accuracy and timeliness.Lead the month-end closing process, actively participating in technical accounting tasks and providing expertise on complex queries.
- Act as a hands-on leader, directly contributing to accounting processes while ensuring figures are the source of truth.
- Manage and mentor your team, fostering professional development and ensuring efficient workflows.
- Ensure compliance with local GAAP standards, manage audits, and prepare financial statements.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders, such as tax consultants and auditors, on accounting matters.
Your impact
- You have +5 years of experience in accounting roles, with a proven track record of success in leadership or senior positions.
- You hold a secondary degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Strong understanding of UGB (Austrian Commercial Code) or the ability to adapt quickly to local GAAP.
- Familiarity with IFRS standards.
- Expertise in monthly closing, audit preparation, and financial statement creation.
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with a hands-on approach to ensure operational excellence.
- Accuracy, reliability, and a proactive mindset are second nature to you.
- A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Fluent in English is a must (German is a Pluss)
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems like NetSuite or similar.
