🔧 The position

As the US Telecom Partnerships Lead, you’ll be part of the team building this critical function at Gigs. This includes partner management, project management, and becoming an expert on Gigs’ telecom stack.

You’ll work across Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to build out efficient and scalable business processes that can support different types of customers and use cases. This role requires travel to visit Telecom partners.

You’ll work closely with April, our Head of Telecom & Operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead US Telecom Partnerships: Serve as the relationship manager for Gigs’ existing telecom supply. This includes building and maintaining relationships across the partners’ business and operations teams, driving commercial negotiations, handling day-to-day tasks — such as operational escalations — and having a multi-year vision to deepen strategic partnerships.
  • Program Management: Be the go-to person for these partnerships understanding the product, data flows, and commercial implications. Report on the overall health metrics to cross-functional stakeholders to ensure our systems and platforms continue to scale effectively.
  • Project Management: Manage complex company-wide initiatives for new Telecom Supply and interface across all functions at the company including Product, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal.
  • New Business Support: Assist our GTM and Customer Success teams when they need a telecom expert on a call and be able to effectively and simply communicate complex telecom topics to tech customers.

👟 About you

  • You have 3+ years of work experience. Experience at a B2B or Saas company. Previous Telecom industry experience is a nice-to-have but not necessary.
  • You’re a problem solver. You love solving problems and enjoy learning how systems work. You’re curious and take initiative. You think creatively about how to build incremental solutions and enjoy using data to prioritize your work and make decisions.
  • You’re an owner. You’ve had experience owning projects or customer relationships and are comfortable operating both internally and externally. You can externally represent Gigs at all levels and feel com
  • You look to unblock inefficiency. You look at the entire operation along the B2B2C value chain and find ways to make things more efficient. You consider interdependencies to figure out where processes can be improved (both internal and external) and where things could break.
  • You love to challenge the status quo: You work best in an environment where you can test solutions that work for the business. You like to question why something doesn't currently work and take things that don't work apart to see how you can rebuild them better. You keep a balance between getting things done and challenging the existing limitations.
  • You love learning technologies as you go. You’re driven to find the right tool for the job even if it’s one you haven’t worked with before.
  • You’re based in the US. You’re fluent in English.
