🔧 The position

• You will build our web apps and services and can bring new ideas to directly shape our efforts beyond our established work.
• You will work on internal tooling, with a focus on server-side automation of processes including browser automation, and building internal tooling UIs.
• You will use a modern tech stack using Next.js, React, TypeScript, Playwright and Tailwind CSS.
• You will take ownership from planning and implementing to shipping and optimizing.
• You will design maintainable and scalable software architectures.
• You will give feedback, ideas, and code reviews to your colleagues.
• You will collaborate with colleagues across all organizations, through cross-functional working groups and our RFC process.

• You are a TypeScript pro, know your way around Next.js, and can implement common and advanced patterns with a heavy focus on server-side code and React.
• You have experience with browser automation and web scraping. You're fluent with RESTful APIs, worked with Docker, GCP, GitHub Actions and Playwright.
• You can organize your work yourself. You divide your work into projects and milestones, create your own tickets and prioritize your tasks. Keeping the right people in the loop is second nature to you.
• You love to abstract a complex flow into simple steps. You think outside the box to solve obstacles that you haven't encountered before. You do research to get a deep understanding and knowledge of how various processes work.
• You care about more than engineering quality. Whatever you do needs to have a business impact. You document your research and make tradeoffs between speed, quality and costs.
• You love learning technologies as you go. You always want to find the right tool for the job, and not only follow what you already know.
